Club preference?
We will be ordering a new 34PA in the next week or two so we have a bit of time before we’ll hit the road. It seems that most CG offer a discount for club membership so it only seems to make sense to join one.
Looking at FMCA and Good Sam. Are there others we should consider? Are there benefits of one over the other?
Just looking for opinions and thoughts from those with experience.
Thanks in advance.

We seem to run across more parks that take Goodsam, but we also have FMCA for some of their other benefits so we’re well covered.

Look at Passport America (1/2 price sites at many campgrounds) and Harvest hosts (free overnight camping with out hookups most of the time at wineries across the country)

I belong to Good Sam; but do it mainly for the ability to have the Pilot/Flying J RVPlus charge card that gets me fuel discounts.

Also consider joining the FreightLiner club and Cummins . With FreightLiner, I got 1% below invoice on our last Jeep. Around here that’s pretty good.
Cummins offers 10% discount .

It’s more a question of what aren’t we ordering.
I believe the only item we don’t want is the Oven/Convection Microwave.

Are you going for the liquid springs option?

I thought the convection/microwave was standard equipment. Is it going to be deleted and you get cabinets in its place?

The convection microwave is standard. The OVEN/Microvave is an option and you lose storage where the oven goes.

Good Sam & FMCA
We are members of both for different reasons. GS as a veteran was cost effective to become a life member for RV Park, Camping World and Pilot Flying J Discounts. FMCA for Road Side assistance which unfortunately we've had to use. I cannot say enough about how helpful they were to include the reimbursements for hotel and other expense. FMCA now offers a fuel discount program that beats GS's 9 cent a gallon with an average savings of 35 cents per gallon. https://www.fmca.com/rv-fuel-discounts and another program that offers similar discount https://www.tsdlogistics.com/services/fuel-program/. Chassis, Engine and coach manufacture can also be worth joining.
