Control Board for Hot water heater

We have a 2018 Allegro Red 33aa Suburban 10gal Hot Water heater.
Where is the control board for the heater located ?
Do I have to pull the Hotwater heater to access the board ?

You might try downloading the exploded view and parts list of your water heater.

Joe,
Are you sure you have a Suburban WH? My 2018 33AA has an Atwood SW10DE WH. In either case I believe you would need to pull the WH to get to the control board. I have looked at my WH in case one of the check valves were to fail and I see no way to access the back side of the WH from inside the MH. The washer/dryer very effectively block access. In fact I'm not sure what needs to be done to gain access to the washer or dryer. There is a narrow opening through the closet to the back of the washer, just big enough to maybe reach the water valves but little else.

Safe travels,

Whoops! I have misspoken, I have a Suburban SW10DE. The Tiffin spec sheet is incorrect as it lists the WH as an Atwood - gotta double check everything :-)

You made me curious, so I went out and looked. That panel does indeed allow access to the side of the WH and surprise what looks to be the control board is in a plastic enclosure just laying on the wire bundles (I pulled it out for the photo). There is minimal access to the back of the WH, maybe can get to the hot side check valve. In the photo the control board with the red ignitor wire is to the left, in the right background the red/hot water connection can be seen as well as the blue/cold water connection. The right side of the area is the engine compartment/radiator wall, washer is directly above.

I was able to pull the Hot Water heater board today. Took longer to open the slides. Very easy to access the board via the panel under the washer and dryer. You can see where the board shorted out in the attached pictures. Thank you for all the help
