Should be a main 300 amp fuse inline. May have blown that.

First off, Welcome to IRV2!
When you say you were changing out batteries, I assume you mean the chassis starting batteries? If so, there should be a large circuit breaker or a 200-300 amp fuse in the line that you may have blown.

I maybe totally out to lunch on this but try disconnecting the chassis battery at the master switch and leaving it off for a few minutes. Hopefully the computers will reset themselves and you did damage a circuit board. Good luck.

When you say "all the 12vdc", you're not referring to the outlets in the house, are you? Only the dash should be powered by the chassis batteries.

I was watching a video about your problem. There are apparently a few 10 amp fuses where when it blows will cause this condition. The video was about a truck chassis with same issue. Don't know if it pertains to your symptom. Worth checking all the chassis fuses though.

Thank you for your response. I'll do that. 12 volt wise everything works but the engine will not turn over and the No trAn No eNg fault is displayed on the dash. Locating the fuse panels on the Fred which is new to me isn't clear

Video I watched said if there is no 12 volts on pin 23 of Trans Module that it will cause that no start condition but it will start if you jumper starter solenoid with key on. There is a 10a fuse that protects that line.
Also a call to freightliner will help . . . hey ae generally pretty good with info.

Checked all of the fuses I could find but nothing blown there. There's a panel on the dash and 2 small boxes underneath the steering column

Do you have fuses in the drivers side front compartment or one of the rear compartments??
Call Freightliner and see what they say

I was able to isolate the problem with my motorhome thanks to inputs that I received. Thank you all very much! What I found was 2 fuses were blown The ECM Battery POWER and the TCM Battery POWER. The biggest challenge was locating the fuse panels that didn't look at all like I expected. There were 5 panels that were all Freightliner installed. They are about 2 1/2 by 5 inch boxes and there a 5 of them. 2 on the inside under the dash and three in the engine compartment adjacent to the steering wheel.
