Does anyone know how to clear the DTC in a Onan generator? It's an 8kw model number 8HDKAK-1046T which is in my 2021 Allegro RED 340. I have a secondary code of 36, which indicates it shut down do to lack of fuel.
I've tried holding down to switch to the off position for 30 seconds but still have the DTC.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

I think that you have the correct answer. 30 sec prime should clear unless code is still active. Maybe you have a sensor or ground issue. A bad ground can cause all kinds of false codes. I know because it has happened to me.
Your 8k gen has a ground post in front of the starter that must have at least 8 wires attached. I have found that nut to be loose on several generators causing numerous false codes.
