Well, I have finally had a problem with the old Bus. I have a "check engine" light. After some digging and attemps to discover what the problem is that was causing the light I disconnected the battery and reset the sensor.

During my search for answers I found a switch under the dash that is labeled "Diagnostics".

Does anyone know what it does?
Does anyone know how to use it?
Will you share with me the information so I will not go nuts trying to figure it out?

My recommendation would be to give Red Bay a call and ask one of the service advisors there. They at least may be able to tell you if it's for the engine or the chassis.

Is the plug mounted on the panel to the left of the steering wheel, if so is it square or round.

Well, back at it. I have found out a little about the switch under the dash. When you have a service engine fault you can push this switch and it will cause the check engine light blink. It will blink a series of times. This coincides with the fault code of the Cummins. I haven't tried it so I am not the expert here. If I ever have another fault I will check it out and let you know.
