Did Tiffin stop offering driver's doors on their gassers?

Been looking at used 2015 or later Open Road 32SAs and I haven't seen any doors on 2017 and later.
Did they stop offering them?

Yes, along with all the other manufacturers. No demand for them.

I had one on my Georgetown because it came that way, so I opted for one on my Open Road when I bought it. In the beginning I used it periodically, now I never use it. Wish I never got it. All it does for me now is make wind noise.

Until our lock failed on our main door on our gasser we didn't use the drivers door hardly ever unless checking fuses etc. After that until we got the lock issue resolved, we were so glad it was another access into our coach!

We looked at a 2018 32sa that had a driver's door so they were available at least until then. Ended up buying a '16 without one though. Really didn't want it, although would have bought the '18 for the right price.

Regards,

Randy

Once you get a little age on you self its a long climb up to that drivers seat.

I love the door. Never use it to enter or leave, but it sure makes working in the left side of the dash easier.

I had a driver door on my 1999 Winnebago Vectra Grand Tour
Very excellent coach
Never used it as a door even once
But I did work on the electric window mechanism at least once per year
If it was an option by the original owner then it was a waste of money

Better knock on wood! [emoji15]. Bought our ‘16 32SA used and it has a driver door. I do occasionally lower the window but learned the hard way not to let it all the way down. Always leave enough to get a grip to help the motor. Those motors are prone to failure.

Other than that it’s a great coach.

Agree mostly useless.

I do like the idea that if the main door stops workings I can still get in/out

I used to use it when I got gas , but it's awkward to use and I had an awkward fall when I was too hasty in getting out and it's a long way down.

If I was getting a new coach I think I wouldn't be willing to pay much for it.
