Dining Chairs 2022 Allegro Bus

We are curious how people are feeling about the dining chairs Tiffin is suppling in the new Allegro Bus. See attached pictures. We bought a 2022 35CP and the chairs are crooked and lay back so far you need a pillow to sit up straight at the table. We ended up keeping our 8 year old Phaeton chairs. We intend to paint the legs white to match our new cabinetry. We've sent a couple emails to Tiffin about the issues we are seeing and haven't gotten any response to speak of. In the old days Bob himself would respond but I guess those days are gone.

Below is a copy of the latest email we sent to Stephanie McCarley In The Tiffin Sales Dept.

Hi Stephanie,
At the end of May we wrote to you about some quality issues we observed on a RED 33AA we were considering buying. We didn't purchase that coach and we didn't back out on the purchase of the 35 CP we put a deposit down on. We might regret not keeping our 2014 Phaeton as the quality issues and problems with our New Bus are extensive. The new coach will probably be stuck at Lazydays for weeks getting everything straightened out. One of the things that bothered us the most was how terrible the dining chairs were in comparison to our Phaeton. We ended up keeping our 8 year old chairs even though they are not a great color match. Once again we've included a list of the defects and problems with the new coach in hopes you guys can improve the buying experience for future customers. Attached is the list and supporting pictures.
Regards

For a brand new upscale coach, those chairs look awfully chinsey.
Makes you wonder what else they skimped on ?

Definitely not what you would expect in a bus. Looks like they came from big lots. Chairs in our '19 Phaeton are comparable to chairs in your Phaeton.

Interesting! The chairs in our 2021 Phaeton are really nice; similar in quality (based on the pictures) to your 2014.

The chairs in our 2022 CP are actually pretty high quality folding chairs. We got 4 of them. They were made by a company called Stakmore.

We received those identical style chairs with our 2022 Phaeton, different color wood and fabric but extremely uncomfortable and bulky, had to put a large pillow to eat at the table. When in Red Bay for service we traded the two throne chairs and the lower ladder (Tiffin forgot to put the stationary upper ladder on the back of the coach) for two folding chairs. The folding chairs are comfortable, well made and now we have four.

While they were solid enough, we didn't care for the chairs in our Bus, which strongly resemble those in the last two photos in the OP. Both of us found them uncomfortable. We happened on some great, very solid chairs in a Habitat ReStore, bought them (for only $8/each!), recovered them, recovered the folding ones to match, and donated the original ones from the Bus back to the ResStore. We're very happy with the outcome.
