Dinning table

We have a new to use 1999 34 Alegro Bay. The dinning table does not fit between the seats to make a bed. The previous owner is dead so we have no one to ask. He had pieces of plywood cut to fit betwwen the seats to make a bed. I can't understand why Tiffin would of made a table to narrow. It is possible the previous owner had the table modified but we can't see were.
Any ideas on our situation?

If you call the factory with your VIN they will be able to give you all the details about your coach. They can tell you if the table was originally designed to fit between the seats or not.

Since you can't see where the table was modified, perhaps the previous owner moved one of the benches back to give himself more room at the table, and now the table is too narrow for the space.

put the grandkids outside in a pup tent and then eliminate the "dinette" altogether replacing it with table and chairs (and a new floor and and and)

Hi guys thanks for all the input. The table is too small.
I called Tiffin about some other items in the past and because of it's age they weren't much help.
No grand kids they are my kids. twin girls 11 and a 4 year old boy. Can't talk the girls into sleeping outside and if we let the boy out he would have every frog, lizard, snake and any other animal he could catch in the tent with him.
