Dipstick question

I have a 2008 Phaeton 40QSH with a 360hp Cummins. When I check the engine oil, I see that the level is low. I added 1 qt of oil and there was very little change in the indicated level.
Does anyone know the amount of oil from low (add) on the dipstick to full?
I 'assumed' it was 1 guart.
Thanks,

Wm Mayberry

Here's a link to where you asked this question a few days ago, you've got some answers there.

Yep,
Saw those responses, just checking with other Tiffin owners who might have specific information.
Thanks,
Wm

Your oil capacity with a filter change is 12 quarts. I would suspect with that amount of oil you would need about 3 quarts from the add oil to the full mark. One quart is normally the amount you would need in a car to get that change, but you’re only dealing with a 5 to 6 quart capacity in a car.

On commercial size diesels that usually hold 12 quarts or more it is a gal from add to full.

Thanks for the help.
I think I've got it figured out now.
