Disable Daylight Headlights

I want to disable the Daylight Headlights on my 2011 Zephyr and yes, I know they are suppose to be a safety feature but have my reasons.

My question is how do you disable the daylight headlights, or is it even possible?

Thank you in advance for all insight.

Not sure how to turn them off for your rig. Just remember there are some states like Missouri, that require the headlights on when ever it rains. Safe travels

Enjoy the journey

Can you snap a picture of the control knob for the lights? Surely this is a parts-bin item. As in, Tiffin didn't create the control knob--Ford or GM probably did. In which case, there's probably a way to shut them off.

Oh, and prepare for a whole bunch of virtue-signaling posts.

Examples of said virtue-signaling--
"You're so evil! I CARE ABOUT PEOPLE, SO I WOULD NEVER DO THIS"
"I'm so grateful I can't drive in your country because of THIS KIND OF INSANITY!!"

Not sure if it’s possible. Certain year vehicles have a daylight running light circuit that is integral to the headlights and turns them on, at lower power, as soon as the engine starts or the transmission engages. There is no driver control over their function. Best to contact Tiffin and find out if disengagement is possible.

Referred to as “Daytime Running Lights”.

Canada was the first to have daytime running lights for safety.

A couple of years later motorcycle manufacturers followed suit.

Found that out on my 2004 Workhorse W22 chassis. Noticed I didn't have Daytime Running Lights and went back to dealer.

Dealer said they only work for W22 chassis sold in Canada. If I wanted mine to work it would have cost about $200 for them to install a relay, etc.

Flying-W you may want to look for a relay that you can remove for the Daytime Running Lights on your Zephyr.

Don't know what chassis you have but there is probably a relay somewhere controlling them.

If all else fails fails pull the bulbs. But if you drive at night you will have to reinstall them.
