Dishwasher question

I recently bought a 2012 Allegro Bus. It has most options, but doesn't have a dishwasher. I'd like to add this.

Going to Fisher-Paykel's website, I find quite a few single drawer models. Most seem to have at least one button on the face of the door, so I presume that those models are not in the running unless I'd elect to cut an access hole in the wooden drawer cover (which I'll need to buy from Tiffin).

Can someone offer the model number of the dishwasher that was installed by Tiffin? I suspect its on the Build Sheet in the closet. Thanks for your help.

I believe the one in my Phaeton is a DD60 model. You program the wash cycles with buttons on the top side of the door and close the door. Then you have a remote that you use to start the dishwasher.

I'm not finding DD60 as being currently available, but it seems that certain DD24 models may have replaced it. They come in two heights: 17" and 19".

I'm not sure if the remote control is still available either. It looks like you set the lock when closing it for travel and then knock on the door to unlock it. Is this how the dishwashers work in newer coaches?

Could you please confirm the height, either 17" or 19"? Thanks for your guidance.

Our 2019 Phaeton has the Fisher & Paykel DD24S19. Assume it to be 19" model. It does not have a remote. You knock on door to unlock, if necessary.

It looks like the DD24xx19-N is the model that should fit directly into the area beneath the cooktop, approximately 24" wide and 16-1/8" high.

Although I don't expect anything better to be available, I'll confirm this with a seller of Fisher & Paykel, and also ask if there is another model that has all the requisite features, and maybe some newer enhancements.

Thanks to all for your help in this regard.

We went with the Vest dishwasher inlieu of the P-F inits. According to the shops, the P-F had more issues. It fits fine under the cabinet under the stove top.

Westland Sales - VESTA Countertop/Built-In Dishwasher

It cleans better than out last house with the GE Potscrubber.

Plus when loading, if you drop the spoon, you do not have to unload the whole thing to get it out like the drawer types.

I certainly appreciate the information regarding alternatives. I wasn't aware of other units compatible with RVs.

It sounds like your Vesta does a better job cleaning at 1/2 the cost of the F-P, but it's dimensions are such that it wouldn't be a clean fit into my unit, so I guess I'll be sticking with the Fisher & Paykel.

Our F-P is junk. Fills the slide with water and no one can figure it out. Original owner of our Bus had problems with it, we had problems, Red Bay wanted $1200 to replace it after they could not solve the issue. It has been a pot/pan storage box now for 6 years. Good to read there is an alternate that will fit under the range top.

Does Tiffin's Service Dept. in Red Bay perform upgrades such as this dishwasher upgrade, or must I go to a Tiffin dealer or maybe perform the installation myself?

If Tiffin can do the installation, any idea as to the cost?

I *think* Tiffin stopped doing customer requested mods around 2015. As to cost, we had Tiffin install a dishwasher in our '14 Phaeton just before they stopped doing the mods, and if memory serves me correctly, it was $1,100 - $1,200, which included the cost of the dishwasher.
