Dismantling L Flexsteel sofa

need help understanding how to dismantle the sofa and the L piece so it will fit thru the door? Hate to destroy it as I am sure there are people who could use it.

You just need to look closely at how it is built. The ends should come off. I think I was able to take the hide a bed portion out of ours to lighten the load.

Post a picture of your project and folks here will know for sure.

Recently took our L sofa/sleeper couch apart and out the door. Took my wife and me about 30 minutes, and the pieces do come out in small pieces. The trick to gain space was move the drivers seat as far foward as posible and the passenger seat back. That give open space to swing the largest pieces out the door. There is nothing holding the assembly to the walls, only floor screws hold it in. If you have a specific question ask me.

Do a search on this forum. It seems like there have been a couple of threads on this, and some had detail instructions.
Thanks,
