Driver Side Rear Snap-Pad Rubbing on Inside Tire

Greetings Tiffin Owners !

Has anyone had a rubbing issue with Snap-Pads on your Levelers? My Rear D/S Inboard Tire is rubbing on the base of the Snap Pad.
I have a 2018 Tiffin Allegro Bus, AP40.
When I installed them new, the clearance was okay.
After my first trip I discovered a groove in the Side of the pad base. It was caused by the outside corner of the inboard tire. The Leveler foot has more movement than I expected, so I don't see anyway to prevent it from continuing to rub on the tire. The other 3 don't show any rubbing.
The clearance is less on the Drivers Side, than the Passenger Side.
Any thoughts or insite would be appreciated.
Chuck

My model year is same, and I have zero lateral movement in the pad. Is it possible your leveler arm is bent?

Also check for worn or loose bolts or pins.

Thank You for the reply. I will take a closer look. Nothing was obvious, but it was much looser than the passengers side.

Thank you for the additional advice. Both main cylinder housings, D/S & P/S were secure. But the foot had all the movement. I'll inspect again.
Thanks

I recently read a FB group thread where several people said they had Tiffin move one of the rear jacks because it was too close to a rear tire on their bus. You might want to give Tiffin a call.

If your jacks are like mine, Your pad is bolted on from the bottom center of the pad. On mine that bolt has a rubber o-ring on it that keeps the pad from rattling or rotating excessively. Check that o-ring and/replace and tighten the bolt. That may help.

I do agree with the other poster who said to check if it’s bent although I would argue you need to check to see that it is bolted on in the right spot and straight. If it was bent more than a tiny tiny bit the jack wouldn’t extend or retract property.

I don’t have Snap pads, but when my tire was rubbing against the plate on my jack on PS, it was the rear alignment.

My PS side rear rubbed so bad I had to pull it off. Appears that the jack bracket is welded quite a bit off vertical. I might try to cut some of the snap pad away to provide clearance. For now I run w/o that one on. The other 3 fit/work just fine.

Sounds way too close for comfort in the first place.
