Driver side solar shade in 2015 Phaeton will not stay down

Any suggestions as to how to fix the DS solar shade that will not stay down?

And if I need to replace the shade what/where should I get it?

Thanks!

Is it motorized or not? Ours are all motorized in the front. The bedroom shades are just spring loaded.

I believe all the shades are manufactured by AutoMotion shades (AMS). Their web site will provide you with vendors who handle their products. Tiffin parts also has some shades in stock.

Call Tiffin, you may be able to get the vendors information and order a new spring assembly. I had the same problem with our 2015, I motorized them both (solar and night) and my wife controls them from the passenger seat through the remote.

The company that makes them is just a few miles from the plant. Recently in RB was given their # and a rep. Came to us and replaced it for a $20 service call. Unfortunately the day after we left another one is doing the same thing.
