Dryer breaker keeps popping when dryer in use

Have a question about the breaker for the dryer (separate). It pops about every 15 minutes while in use. The breaker is a 15 amp and the dryer pulls 15 amps. Anyone had this issue? I have a 2011 Phaeton 40QTH

Dryer breaker should be 20a with 12ga wire. At least that's what it is/was on both my Tiffins.

Have tried replacing the breaker. While infrequent they can fail.

See if you can read the wire gauge on the breaker or at the outlet. If its 12 gauge, you can use a 20 amp breaker.

You might also want to check and make sure there’s nothing clogging the vent especially the lint trap area. With as hot as it’s been it doesn’t take a lot extra to load up a system.

I’ve had problems in the past with that and it’s one of my maintenance points now, but like mentioned above, it could also be a bad breaker or connection. When/If you replace the breaker make sure to observe the wires for any scorching, melted insulation or poor installation from the factory….It happens!

Let us know what you find..!

Thanks for all the responses. So the breaker is recommended to be 15. Bought a new one and replaced old one. The main 50 amp breakers were extremely loose. Wires just fell out (literally). Corrected that, tightened all the remaining breakers and grounds and now no problems. Dryer works great.
