Elec. problem?

Can't figure out where to ask this ?. When on 30 amp shore power, and I turn off 12volt power to coach why does AC unit go off?. The only thing on is fridge and one ac? we have 2011 allgrego bus all elec. still learning any help is great.

Because there is 12 volt control voltage going to the thermostat.

i
more info needed does it trip a circut breaker or just not operate when you shut down the 12v power if the later I would suspect 12v is necessary to run the unit ( why do You shut the 12v)

If you shut off your 12V's you are also shutting off all control boards fridge, water heater, AC's and thermostat.
