electric cord reel

the electric cord on my 2008 allegro bus doesn't go in or out, I can hear the motor run, but the reel doesn't turn. It looks very difficult to access, or is it an easy fix?? thanks, John

Speculation on my part but if you can hear the motor run (and the cord is not moving) then you've got a broken gear (or two).

You'll have to access the mechanism and eye-ball it, then determine which gear(s) and order/ replace them. Without knowledge - and or the manual - finding parts might be the tough part.
