Electric Steps issue

2009 Allegro Open road. My electric steps will not retract. 20 Amp fuse on front panel good. Orange light under step comes on. Any ideas?

Hope someone comes on and gets you an answer soon. I know this question has been asked and answered on here before. Think one answer involved hitting them with a mallet or hammer

Ok all voltages good. Disconnected motor arm from step and still nothing when used lockout switch. About to pull motor and it started working. Hooked back up and works! Interesting......

Had the same issue with ours. Sprayed WD-40 on the gears above the motor, but found the plugs were the issue. Being careful where you lay near the steps, unplug the two connections, wait a few seconds, plug them back in. It has worked twice for us. I think water gets into the connection.
