Engine access

I own a 2009 Phaeton and want to change crankcase filter. Where is access to engine, looks like step between closet and bed, but can't figure out to open it.

The screws you need to remove are buried in the carpet. You will need a high strength magnet to locate them. Should be around 6 of them.

And....the trim panel between bottom of closet and the floor hatch will have to removed first. To allow hatch to be lifted up.
