have a 2006 42.5 QDP and was told there might be an access panel in bedroom floor to the motor compartment. I do not see anything but appears to have had carpet replaced sometime in the past so maybe it was carpeted over? I need to gain access to the turbo. thanks for any info.

Yes, there will ba a hatch. Bolts/screws are probably buried in the carpet. Magnet might help locate them.

I don't have a tiffin but if you have a side radiator you should be able to look at the floor area and see some bolts holding the lid down. If not feel around on the floor in the rug to find the heads. I had 6 bolts hold mine down, hard to fine in the rug.

Hopefully you have found the screws for your cover by now... In my 08 QDP the cover has a lip that backs up to the closet (under the closet front trim).
I became all too familiar with my access port after a turbo change out and a cracked (and separated) exhaust downtube leaking exhaust into the bedroom.
