Equipment Fan

I have a 2015 Red 36 QSA. It has the satellite recr and DVD player in cabinet above passenger seat. Over the dash opposite that seat is a cabinet. Inside behind a panel, I believe from other posts, are the HDMI switches. There is also a fan behind the panel that seems to run constantly unless I turn off the master battery switch on the light control panel next to the entry door. I know the fan is to keep the electronics cool but it runs constantly whether I'm using the audio/video equipment or not. Any one know how to turn the fan off when not needed? Or is it running because the sun is baking front of the rv? Anyone add a on/off switch for the fan?
Thanks everyone.

Hello and welcome to irv2. Someone may chime in for you but in the mean time you could call Tiffin and ask. They have a great reputation for customer service. Sorry, I don't have your coach or I'd be better prepared to answer.

Their should be a switch in the cabinet with the DVR and receiver. Its usually mounted on the right side very high and hard to see. It turns off power to the splitters and the fan.

In our 2017 AB the splitters were always on as well . Turned out someone had plugged them into an "always " hot outlet rather than the proper one that should of been turned on by the switch. after opening up the cabinet I found the fan switch had 2 pigtail wired in it. Once I changed things around everything worked as intended

PC Cooling Fan Controller

I'm planning my cabinet upgrade to my 2005 Phaeton. I don't have cooling fan, but am adding at least one. I'm planning to include a fan controller similar to this one: https://www.newegg.com/p/376-0043-00...8480-_-Product.
