I have a different system, but also have a repeater. Two actually, as the one in the back closet still dropped toad units. I wondered if it was because of the sliding door mirrors or it was just a weak unit. I still don’t know for sure. I wired the closet one into the closet 12V lights, prior to the on/off switches. My other unit is underneath between the rear tires (it’s weatherproof). It’s wired into the chassis batteries. The two don’t interfere with each other.

I used the power from the left hand closet light in our 37PA. Worked fine. I used a quick disconnect plug on one of the wires so I could disable it when in storage.

Initially I thought that I needed a repeater when I began losing connection to tow or even rear tires of the rig. Just before I was going to buy the repeater, I called the manufacturer and he suggested to first try putting in fresh batteries in the culprit sensors. I did that, and it seems that the issue resolved. Just some food for thought.
