Fast Idle?

Does anybody know how to engage fast idle on my 2010 Bus 36 QSP?
In the Breeze I owned previously, I turned on the cruise control and hit either set or resume. No go on the Bus.
Suggestions? Thanks!

It should be the same process - turn the cruise control on and hit set. If that doesn't work, call Tiffin Service and ask them how to do it.

I have found on my MH (ISB 300hp) that sometimes, on initial start up/running with the cruise set, the idle is not high at the outset when the engine is really cold, but within a few minutes, the idle increases. Maybe mine is faulty, don't know, but if not, that may be what you are experiencing.

While I agree with the other answers, treat it just like you would the same as rolling down the road. If just "pressing" set does not increase the idle enough for you, you can also hold the set button and the idle will continue to increase until you let the set button go. This trick works on both our current Bus, and our previous '14 Phaeton.

Yo Dewey! You are correct, Sir. Went out to the Bus to exercise everything today, and did just that - instead of short-pressing the Set button, I pressed it and held it,
and was gratified to see that, just as you described, the idle slowly increased until
I released the button, and it stopped right there. Cool! I pressed some more, and it increased some more. I pressed Off, and it returned to programmed idle. Great!
More sophisticated than my older Breeze, and very useful. Thanks to all who answered! Muldoon

Fast Idle.

I vaguely remember the Cummins service tech talking about fast idle.

Why should we use it? And how fast is fast?

Thank. Jeff
