Fiberglass Crack at corner of driver's side rear slide

I have a 2010 Tiffin Allegro Open Road with 4 slideouts. I purchased this used rig recently and on our first trip the fiberglass under the rear driver's side slideout (back bedroom) cracked. I've been told this has been a problem on other Tiffins. If you had a similar issue, how much was the fiberglass repair and did you have any cracking issues again after the repair. For now I have put a silicone sealant to prevent water from getting in. Thank you in advance for your responses.

First off, welcome to IRV2 and the Tiffin family!

Usually these stress cracks were in the corners of the slide cutouts. Most of these have been repaired by putting a trim piece over the crack then painting it to match. I would contact Don Boyd at Tiffin to see if they will help out with repairs. Send him photos of the area. don.boyd@tiffinmotorhomes.com

I was up at Red Bay about 4 years ago for some other service work. They noticed I had the same type crack on back right slide. They repaired it at N/C.

Thank you so much for responding. Based on Lt. Dan's response to this thread, I reached out to Don Boyd at Tiffin and he advised me that Tiffin will do the repair or cover it up to $1000.00 since the RV was still under warranty.

Again thank you for responding
