Fire hazard for Phaetons with Powerglide chassis

I wanted to bring this to the attention of owners of Phaetons with the Powerglide chassis. A member of the TiffinRVNetwork forums recieved a phone call from Tiffin regarding a fire hazard potential on their new 2012 Phaeton with a Powerglide chassis and a fix.

Original post from member GB:

Just received a called from Tiffin regarding a potential fire hazard. Apparently the rear floor board can overheat from the engine and catch fire. The are sending me a thermal shield to install between the floorboard and engine along with an exhaust pipe sock.
Has anyone received this fix yet? If so, how complex is the install and what is the expected install time
Phaeton owners with the Powerglide chassis may want to call Tiffin for more info and jump over to the TiffinRVNetwork forums to read the original post.
