Fireplace Quit

We're boondocking. I started the generator, then started the fireplace to take the chill off.

it ran fine for about 10 minutes, then quit. It won't restart.

I reset the breaker - nada.

Any ideas?

Hello, I read your issue and it sounds like either your heater or blower motor has shorted out. If you blew the breaker I would say that the fire place is probably bad. The only way to know for sure is to pull it out and bench test it as it should be plugged into a 110 outlet somewhere behind the fireplace. Most are only held in by a few screws.
Good luck

Don't know if the model of your fireplace is a Dimplex but here is post from Lt Dan in 2016 regarding a similar problem on a 2013 33AA.

If it's not a simple thermostat setting as Roger mentioned, it sounds like you may have an overheat problem. The following is from the Dimplex owner's manual:
Should the heater overheat, an
automatic cut out will turn the
fireplace off and it will not come
back on without being reset. It
can be reset by switching the
Main On/Off switch to Off and
waiting five (5) minutes before
switching the unit back on.
CAUTION: If you need to
continuously reset the heater,
disconnect power and call

Thanks everyone for your replies.

Turns out the breaker on the generator tripped.
