First time Bus owner

Hello all, I am buying my first Rv to go full time and could use any suggestions. I am buying a 2008 Tiffin Bus QRP. It has just under 20,000 MILES ON IT. It's a one owner and I'm buying it from a Tiffin dealer. I've never had one before and any advice you can pass on I would be most grateful.
Sincerely,
Terry and Wendy

Have it inspected by a qualified inspector and don’t get the inspector from the dealer. Also, get the engine and transmission fluids analyzed.

Good luck!

Make sure all of the Big Three warranty campaigns completed before you buy. These include the roof rails, the wet bay floor, and the driver’s side front slide out floor. A quick call to Tiffin with the vin number should give you the info. Some coaches needed all three, others did not. The roof rail extended warranty runs out this year on your model, the others have already ended. For the expired ones, Tiffin usually will do the repairs, if needed, at a reduced price.

Thank you all very much. I'm lucky on the roof rails as Tiffin told me it was originally sold in August of 2009 so they are still under warranty and they do have some of those little cracks. It has a new set of Goodyear 399 model tires that were installed maybe a month ago. Thanks to everyone for making this site rock!!!!.

Good advice above on fluids and service.

If you have not driven a big RV before, I would advise going to a big parking lot and set out some plastic coke bottles and familiarize yourself with the turning capabilities of your new coach.

You can set up the bottles and learn how to navigate those "obstacles".

Read about and understand your electrical and water system.

Weigh your coach so you know what you can carry (it will be a lot of weight)
