Exclamation First winter - furnace problem

Howdy folks.

Looking for where to troubleshoot. It’s our first winter with our 2018 allegro and our first outing was uneventful re:furnace. However we have the motorhome setup for a large family visit and last night it stopped blowing warm air in both zones in the middle of the night. No fault showing on the best pump and my LP tank is 80%.

Any help on where to look first ? Hoping for a quick bandaid so the visitors are comfortable. Space heaters are of course an option.

Thank you all in advance for any advice.

Ok ; if I understand your explanation of the issue ; your furnace blower motor is running .
Do you have propane to the cook top ?

Have you placed any carpets in the coach that might be restricting air flow through the registers ?
Any air flow restriction ( outlet registers , or return air ) can effect an RV furnace's operation .
The air flow must be unrestricted for proper " sail switch " operation.

Do you have the owners manual for the furnace (s) ?

Manual has a good troubleshooting section .

Agree with Skip on needing a bit more information to help troubleshoot. IF you would like to give us a call we can troubleshoot with you over the phone as well as the MFG of the furnace can also troubleshoot with you.

When the furnace quit, how cold was it out? If you are running summer grade propane, it can freeze and probably ruin the regulator.
If that’s the case, a propane dealer can inject winterizer into your tank which I think is Menthanol.

Fixed?

Thanks for the replies all.

To answer the questions. Yes, 80% tank, had gas to the stove etc. all intake registers clean and free of obstructions.

I pulled the unit out to check for restricted air flow and to ensure the return ducting was secured. All was in order.

Put it all back together and it fires up normally using the front zone. If I try to run the rear zone only it never kicks on the blower or burner etc.

Both zones have no faults on the furnace or heat pump , but I understand those faults are limited info.

So for now, visiting family is warm and I’ll continue to read here and dig after they leave to try to understand why the rear zone control isn’t working.
