Flex pipe under kitchen sink

Hello everyone.

The flex pipe on our 2011 Phaeton 36QHS is deteriorating. The kitchen sink is on the passenger side slide.
I have used various 'flex seal' products on the leak but it keeps expanding.

The flex section of the drain must be replaced, but I have no clue how, or where I could take it to be replaced other than doing the Red Bay marathon.

Has anyone experienced this problem?

thanks
Craig

I had the exact same problem. Fortunately it appeared just as I arrived at Red Bay so they took care of it. They replaced the tubing but put a 90 degree elbow in the middle so that the tubing doesn't have to bend so much when the slide goes in and out. I'm sure any qualified RV tech could do it and it only took about an hour.

Not at this time.
It is attached to what appears to be black ABS at both ends, that does not move when slide travels in or out.
thanks

Remove the deteriorated part and take it to the nearest hardware store. They will set you up with the correct replacement parts.

Any local plumbing shop could do it. You might get a discount because they did not do a house call.

The flex hose on my 2012 36QSH developed a kink. I cut out a section and replaced it with a "universal" flex radiator hose. No fittings required, simply clamped over the flex pvc. I don't recall the number, but Auto Zone actually had it in stock. It showed as being OEM for a 1956 Packard, but was in reality a universal hose.
