Ford V-10 Data Port
On the way to Red Bay for some maintenance, we have an engine warning light come on.
I checked all fluids, gas cap etc, no other notification than the light so we pressed on to Red Bay.
When we arrived and during check in I told them about the engine light but was told we would have to take this to a Ford servicing business. Ok but finding someone short of going up to Mussel Shoal. Bottom line know one knows where to insert the onboard diagnostic connection.
2013 Allegro Open Road TGA V-10...
we have looked around the steering column, could it be covered? inside another electric box??, engine compartment??
No one seems to know where it is actually at.
Yes I did disconnect the terminal from the battery which turned it off but it relighted after a couple hundred miles.

It likely has a black plastic cover on it and it should be embossed with OBD II or something similar. The one in my Winnebago is directly below the steering column but is hard to see without a flashlight.

The OBD2 port on our 2000 is located up under dash mounted on right side of steering column and as BB stated hard to see w/out a light.
Good luck & Safe travels...

When we had a F53 chassis, I found the OBD under the dash, just to the left of the steering column and near the top of it.
A good investment for your Mh would be a Scan Gauge, one of the functions is to give you trouble codes.

I have a 2016 Allegro. The OBD2 is attached to the right side of the steering column. It's hidden from view a bit by the decorative "skirt" around the steering column to match with you dash. Have a look around the column and you will find it.

Here's a link to Ford's Technical Service Bulletin Q-178 from 2009 on the issue.

Thanks to everyone, general consensus is on the steering column, when I get to Ohio I will find it..all references to this are environmental issues!

The Oriely auto parts in red bay may pull the codes for you.

On my 2016 it is on the right side of the steering column. it has a black cover on it. I keep my scan gauge plugged into it.
