Fresh water tank emptying 1988 Allegro

Hi folks. I'm sure this has been asked before, but a search turned up over 9900 matches, so here goes...

New owner, first season with a 1988 Tiffin Allegro motor coach. Didn't take long to figure out how to put tens of gallons INTO the fresh water tank, but now I'm wondering how the heck to get all of that water OUT of the tank before we get our first hard freeze (which, here in Wyoming usually happens around July 20th).

Any knowledgeable folks out there who can assist me with this older Allegro would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Try to follow the lines from the tank to the pump. There should be a drain valve somewhere along the line. You may also have a cold & hot water drain. If not turn on the pump and open the tap. You will also have to drain the hot water tank in freezing weather . Then winterize with plumbing antifreeze to prevent the lines splitting.
