Front AC noise
New Phaeton owner.
While traveling, we noticed a whining sound on the outside front of the coach while running the dash AC. Is this normal?
Also, has anyone had a wind whistling noise in the front of the coach? Not sure where it's coming from, but it's very annoying.

Do you have a small awning over your door? That is probably where the wind noise is coming from. Not really any fixes for that, sorry!

Thanks for the reply, but read on other post about the wind noise. What about the AC whining? Anything there?

Does it go away when you cut the A/C off? If so it's probably the compressor.

Yes it does. Wanted to make sure there wasn't some other problem under there.

I bet it's the compressor. The colder and faster you run it, the more it whines.

And if I recall correctly (which my wife says doesn't happen very often) it's located midline about even with the steps.

I agree with open pro - it's the fan right under the front of the RV. It runs (and is loud) when using both the heat and A/C.
