Front End FIRE

2001 Tiffin Allegro Bus, Freightliner Chassis. This past weekend we had a slight front end fire that we luckily got under control very quickly but we are looking for replacement parts/recognition (parts are burnt). We had the dash air on and we noticed it wasn't running on high or medium then we noticed electrical smell followed by smoke. After pulling over we opened up the front generator compartment and saw flames. We now need to replace the damaged parts (attached). Please let me know if you are able to identify any parts and/or able to assist with helpful information. Thank you!

The part in the first two photos , is the dash blower motor resistor block .

I'm down loading the third photo to blow it up so I can look for any further info.

What's unusual is the mounting ; these resistors are usually mounted in the heater duct work in the fan's air flow for cooling.

BTW: The dash A/C and heater were not Freightliner items , Tiffin installed them .
Evans/Tempcon is a common supplier of the dash systems , do you see the mane anywhere in the parts of the dash system ?

Wow You are very fortunate! I had a 1999 Allegro bus fire start some where in fr on drivers side while waiting for semi to pull up from Diesel pump. I too opened front an seen flames there. As my wife is unable to walk i rushed back in side an got her out an on wheel chair an away from rv.By that time there was no getting fire out an end result was complete loss.
We are not sure why fire started I did do my best to have all wires secure so they would not rub
The only thing we suspect is a very small piece of rubber on the road did dit something under coach. My thoughts are it hit the air conditioner condenser an perhaps locked iit from operating. As you know that fan only runs when it is called for an while we were driving an air was passing through it motor didnt need to run. When we stopped for fuel less than ten miutes fan was called to run an it could not.Perhaps it was not fused correctly or not at all an fire started.
I have made sure replacement fan is properly fused an also wires are secure.
Finally first priority is for folks in rv to get out!!!! It is very little time to do that!!!Seconds count.

I will also add i use a infra red Harbor Freight temperature gun an on ocassion with rv running an all electrical things turned i check temperature of --wire-- fuses-- connections ect you might find a bad connection or corroded conection that might need attention. It will show with elevated temperature.

yep that dash air resistor block is a standard item, most auto parts places can get it, my DAMON has the exact same one.
ACME was the a/c brand installed, but its a generic part.

in fact mine is up high on the firewall right below the metal bar that holds dash area.
