Fuel discount programs
Looking for the best fuel discount program?
I know this has been gone over many times. I am still learning how to get around this site.

There are two excellent apps that I and many others are using.
OpenRoads (TSD Logistics)
MudFlap
Both of these can give excellent discounts depending on the location. The other benefit is you are filling at the truck pumps so there is no credit card limit pump shut off.

Last I checked MudFlap requires going inside. That is no go for me.
TSD aka https://myopenroads.com/ 9 of 10 times is best for me. I'll usually check FuelBook and Tripwizard's fuel prices (right click while viewing map) but rarely beat TSD.

I use GasBuddy at lot of the time. You do need to look at the gas station to see if you can get in ok. Except for the cars that decide to block my exit route, I normally can get into & out of most gas stations. But then we only have a 37' DP.

Nothing like giving a company (myopenroads.com) your bank account and social security number just to get diesel?
Not going to do that

I am not much into using my bank and personal info to get fuel. It seems as thought it is a discount for cash, if you cannot use a credit card. We use our points on our credit cards to do a cruise every year. Are there any programs that let you use a credit card?l

TSD OpenRoads. 3+ years no issues. Last fill up saved $1.10 per gallon off pump price. Never and issue drawing from my savings account that I keep limited funds in to cover minimal purchases.

You can use a credit card with the MudFlap program.
TSD (OpenRoads) recently sent out a survey asking if there was an interest in using a credit card if it meant lowering the discount. See the following link for a discussion on this issue https://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/tsd-...on-611208.html

I never joined for the same reason. Biggest savings I have found is Buc-cee’s, almost a dollar less than the Flying J on the other side of the highway.

Love Buc-ees, low prices + 5% off credit card. Just slow pumps, but no diesel to wade in to fill up. Only about 200-250 pumps, all with diesel/gas. Also, not enough of them yet.

Not all of us are lucky enough to have a Buc-Cee's handy so I use the TSD card. Never worried about them draining my account. A company that size has better things to do that fleece our accounts.
