Generator and Jacks

Having two issues on a 2011 Allegro Bus 36

Generator, works perfect on manual operations, however, AGS set up starts at desired voltage, then quits after a couple of minutes (programmed to run for 2 hours), then restarts, then quits, then restarts again and again.

Jacks-worked fine until yesterday. They will not extend. Attempted several times, key on, key to aux position, generator on, generator off, manual extension-help

Would be helpful if you said what inverter you have on your Bus. Kinda sounds to me that there is a conflict in its generator setup. As far as jacks, does the panel have power to it... do the lights illuminate? Am guessing the jacks are HWH brand. Recommend you give Tiffin a call and discuss with them as you may need to replace the controller for the jacks.

Silly question, but I have to ask. Is the park brake on? It's easy to bump it and turn it off.

If you can't find the problem yourself, HWH has good troubleshooting and repair info on their website. Click the "Customer Service and Technical Support" bar on the left of the page. There is a manual to use to identify your system in case you don't know what you have, and troubleshooting and repair manuals. HWH is also very helpful by email and by phone.

On the parking brake switch there are two places to connect wires.

One is for the jacks.. On mine I found one of the wires had come off the switch (the other one so jacks still worked) NOTE that this is but one of the causes of non-operation.

What does your jack control panel display. This will tell us more than anything.. I know sometimes my transmission does not go easily into park. Usually evidenced by failure of the ignition key to release from the lock.
