Going to Winfield

I don't see any threads re visiting Winfield. I have been to Red Bay many times but I know nothing about Winfield. Can anyone share their experiences such as check in, rv accomodations, proximity to restaurants, groceries. Anything would be more than I currently know.

Tiffin Service visit in Winfield, AL

i've been to the Winfield service center which is located at:
Winfield Service Center

6524 State Hwy 129 N

Winfield, AL 35594
ph: 205-487-4710

At the service center, there is free RV hookups with 30-50amp service, sewer and water. They don't charge and typically there's quite a few spots available depending on their service schedule.

Eating - marginal - I remember a waffle house style place down the state road but everything else is a few miles away. There's not much there as it's kind of in the middle of nowhere except for Tiffin stuff. The factory is down the road a few miles.

You can message me if any specifics. I'll do my best. I've been there twice.

Going to Winfield

Thanks for the info re Winfield. Are some of the food spots close enough to use a golf cart to get around? Important to me as I don't pull a car.
Thanks

The huddle house is close enough for a golf cart trip but it might be a bit hair raising on the state highway.

Here's a google map link:

I did a screen shot here so you can see the overall layout.

I hate to say it, but if you are there for any length of time you may need a rental car or see if there are Uber or Lyft drivers who operate in the area. As already posted by others, the factory, Winfield, and local places to eat are few and far between and quite spread out over a few miles. I had a rental car when I was at the factory for 3 days; I don't think I'd try it with a golf cart.

Best,
-Mark

Thank you and will take your advice. The Huddle House will get old fast.
