Headed to Red Bay

This week we will drive to the factory for some big and small repairs. We bought in late May and after some short trips behind us, we have a list. My question is about camping at Tiffin on Th nite b4 our Friday appt. If they don't finish up Friday...will they continue on Monday? Any tips on staying in Red Bay...restaurant...anything to see in area? And yes, we took the factory tour. Love our RED!

If you have not done so I would check with the Tiffin forum. There is a separate section just for Camp Red Bay. The link is below.

Depending on what you need to get done, you may be there for multiple days. With an appointment they should take you right in and start working your list, but if you need chassis work or paint work in addition to the usual pick-up items found on a new MH, you may have to wait until your turn comes up in those different lines. With an appointment they will do everything possible to get you out as expeditiously as possible. Also, your camping will be free.

Unfortunately, Red Bay is not a hotbed of great restaurants or entertainment. As a matter of fact, if you don't have something to do to ammuse yourselves, you can go quietly mad in the place. A run up to Muscle Shoals or to Tupelo over the weekend will probably be a good break, unless you think the local drive-in fast food joint or the farmers market is enough excitement. A run either north or south on the Natchez Trace is a great way to kill a Saturday if the weather will cooperate. No bars though, as I believe they're dry.
