Heat Shield

Good morning all I have a 99 Allegro bay 32ft with the v-10 the engine cover heat shield is shot nothing left but tore up looking foil has anybody replaced their heat shield the carpet type pad is still in great shape.I called tiffen they wanted $179.00 for a 3ftx5ft piece (CRAZY) of heat shield ive found many different ones on line for way cheaper just not sure what to go with.

What about the foil backed insulation they sell at lowes, home depot etc. It is 1/4 inch thick and I believe they use it on diesel pushers where the coach floor is over the motor

I looked at (if the same stuff) your talking about it has a plastic backing on it looks like bubble wrap not sure if that will handle the heat . thank you
