Help Finding Fuse/Breaker for Hydraulic Feed

2018 Red

Working on changing the slide solenoids I blew a fuse/breaker on the hydraulic solenoid feed when a wrench was across the feed solenoid terminal and ground when I turned the battery on.

Does anyone know where the big feed fuse/breaker... is?

It is a #2 wire which should have a 100 to 250Amp protector

It is the lower wire on the master solenoid.

Thanks,
Jack

Power fuse/breaker should be within 3' of the battery positive post . and could look like one of these .

Found Hydraulic Pump Slide 200 AMP Fuse

Hi Skip,

Thanks for the feedback. After diving into this issue I had a long call with Tiffin. Had one of the Electrical guys go back to the factory floor to figure out where the 12Volt feed fuse is which is the bottom #2 wire on the master solenoid.

He called me back (Tiffin has the best people).

The fuse is a 200 Amp big guy (Middle Fuse) under a red flap on the firewall drivers side in the Generator compartment. (see the pictures).

Whe I removed the lug (middle position on the distribution bus) from the bus I saw that it was covered with body undercoating spray. Had to file it off, it was hard like a rock. This is an issue whereas you need good clean contacts for high average.

NAPA had them in stock so I bought two ($7.50 each). I also figured out the is a spare fuse in a third position not wired to anything for another power takeoff so I had a spare right there.

Coated all with Clear Protector to keep all from deteriorating.

Jack

Thanks, this is interesting info. Unfortunately on my '19 37BA there is not one there. Maybe I'll find it under the mess of insulation.
