How do I...get the interior light covers off

2014 Breeze, I am trying to get the interior ceiling light covers off to clean them. I tried to unscrew them and then tried to pry them off (gently) but no luck.
What's the trick?

They should just unscrew. Perhaps try a piece of rubber to get a better grip, aka a jar opener

Not sure what type you have. Mine are square. I turn them slightly and they pop off. On some of them, because the light base is screwed in a bit deeper than other, I have to push in a little and turn to get them back on. Iíve only done this a couple of times and I gingerly do this.

If you have the approx 4" round type here is the best way I've found. Take a credit card or thin plastic spatula and go around between the cover and the headliner to break them loose in case they have become stuck to the headliner. Next push up and turn counter-clockwise approx 1/4 turn to remove the covers.

Thank you to all who answered. My lights are 3" round and come off by unscrewing them clockwise when looking up. The credit card trick worked to break the seal between the header and lens. I got most of them off and cleaned and now need something with more grip to get the rest. Found all the lenses had small styrofoam pieces inside.

Tomorrow I will wash the coach and we leave Florida on Monday for the trip to California. Barring floods, fires etc. we should make San Diego by close to months end.
