HWH Pump Leak

The HWH pump for my levers and sideout has a slow leak. The leak appears to be between the plastic reservoir and the aluminum pump housing.

I have modestly tightened the clamp, but it still leaks. I'm a little afraid to go too tight on the clamp and risk breaking it.

Is there an O ring between the tank and the housing?

If you can find your HWH model number, PM AZPete here on the forum and ask him. He's an HWH tech and very helpful.

If it were mine, and a slow leak as you say, I'd add ATF Stop Leak to the tank. I don't think AZPete would approve but it worked for me to stop a medium leak in my Power Gear system and so far, I've had no leaks from my HWH levelers and slides system...where I added it for maintenance.

Some type of stop leak in a bind on the road may work but a full fix is the long term way to go. I am sure there is some type of seal or O ring. If you have a model number of the unit post it and also go online and see if there is a breakdown. Bet it’s out there.

Just did a quick search “ HWH HYD PUMP” turned up a couple of links to HWH Corg. They have links to parts list and breakdowns to everything they used. Part number to the pump skid would be very helpful

some of the tanks have an o ring. the tank is secured by a large hose clamp. have you tightened it? if necessary, add another one.
its your coach. while trans leak preventer isnt recommended, if you feel the need, do it.
a model number would help.
