Inverter and Residential Refrigerator

Question: The RR runs on 120VAC supplied by the inverter / batteries when not on shore AC or the generator. Does anyone know if the inverter will disconnect the RR if the AC voltage goes too low? If so at what voltage?

I am trying to understand how the RR is protected from low AC voltage from the inverter as the batteries loose power.

Usually the inverter will shut everything down but that depends on the inverter and how it's set up. I have ours set to shut down totally at 10.5 volts but I can change that on the control panel.

Most inverters do have low voltage protection, yes. Some at a fixed voltage, some adjustable.

Some also have high voltage limit as well, usually ~15 vdc. The high limit can sometimes be a issue with some battery multistage chargers that can touch to just over the limit during absorption mode.

The documentation for your inverter should have all the info that you are looking for.
