Just bought a new to me 2014 Phaeton 40 QBH. I trying to understand the Kenwood radio navigation system. Can you add your own POI's?

We have the Kenwood 571TR and custom POI's can be added. You have to download from an internet app to a USB storage device. You can then upload the custom POI's to the unit using the Garmin upload. When you upload the custom POI's any custom POI's already on the unit will be over written. Safe travels in your new Tiffin.

Where is the USB port located on this radio? I don't see one.

Mine has a wire out of the back of the radio that has a female usb connector. Yours may still be tied to other wiring under your dash.

In 2014/15 I think The wire is under the dash, in 2016 its located on the dashboard near the passenger side/middle of the dash.

Thanks. I will try to reach from under the dash to feel for it.

The USB cord is wired to the cables on the back of the radio. I removed one of the 12V outlets on the dash and replaced with a USB outlet and attached the radio USB to the back of new outlet. It is not a difficult job. Just be sure the new USB outlet diameter will fit the hole in the dash where the current 12V outlet is installed.
