Thumbs down Kenwood DNX570TR pairing

When placed my RV in storage I turned off the disconnect switches for the chassis and house batteries. After about 3 weeks I went to exercise the RV and Gen. When I turned the switches back on an started the RV an turned on the radio (Kenwood DNX570TR) had reset to factory settings, I was able to do a recover some of the settings I can play the radio and Garman Nav is working. I could not recover the phone Bluetooth connections for mine and wife Samsung s8. When I try to pair the phones, they pair but with audio only, no contact list or the ability to use the phone. When I try to use the phone, it comes back phone disconnected. I contacted Tiffin was only able to provide the basic pairing service, recommended that if that didn’t work to contact Kenwood, If you have a phone number for kenwood support I would appreciate a posting of the number. I though that I would post here first to see if anyone has had this problem and was able to solve it.

Contact Tripple H in redbay, they supply the stereo equipment to Tiffin. They will walk you thru it. 256-356-9005

Lloyd I was finally able to get my android phone working. Kenwood’s help at first was not that helpful. I finally got a lady that solved the problem. I wish I had gotten her name to give an Atta-Girl. I am going to list what she had me do. I didn’t write down the instructions for the OEM setting you might have to experiment to get the right setting. I think I turned it on, if that doesn’t work reset your radio again turn the OEM off. Also, unpair your phone from the radio before you start the process of pairing.

1 Press the reset button on the radio.

2. Scroll down until you set the OEM setting, turn it on

3. Return back to find the Finish button select that.

4. Then pair your phone to the radio as you normally would.

This worked for me I have full use of the telephone
