Does anyone have dark stains showing up on the Corian back splash for the 2009 Tiffin Phaeton models?

We picked up our new Phaeton mid Dec and by first of the year dark stains started showing up on the back splash in the kitchen and bath room? It looks like the machine that cut the Corian to look like bricks had some type of oil on it and every so often has left a mark.

Any suggestions on how to remove the stains?

I know it's not from cooking because I place one of the tops of the oven in the back to act as a reflection of the cooking splatters.

A few months ago, in "Roughing it Smoothly" magazine. The Tiffin countertops are "Avonite". There was an article about the countertops. It showed how they were made & some cleaning/care instructions.

Here's a couple of links mentioned in the article.

Shelia, call Tiffin at 256-356-0261 and ask them what to do about it. They may have experienced the problem and can tell you how to clean it. They also may suggest taking it back to the dealer and getting the pieces replaced. They can also replace it at Red Bay.

Don't delay, as you have one year from purchase to have the repairs covered under warranty. These guys are good and if the problem was theirs they will make it right. Avonite should not stain like that.

Solution at Red Bay

I am now at Red Bay and the solution to problem - WD40 all over all of my back splashes. Now the brick with light gray between the brick effect is the same color as the bricks - dark gray. No white is showing. I'm not sure if I like this effect. Time will tell.
