Hi All:

I need your opinion, the L shaped Sofa in a Tiffin. Is it good or bad? In the past I have heard negative comments on the L shape sofas.

It sort of makes sense to me as it is the only seating that faces the TV over the fireplace. I hate turning my head to watch TV.

Looking at ordering a 2021 Tiffin 33AA. Lets hear some comments on the ones that actually have the L shaped sofa.

We have the L in our Open Road. We very much like what it does to define the living space in our coach. Comfort, however, is not what we hoped for. Unfortunately, we didn't sit on the L section before buying. Our Open Road is going on 5 yrs old now, so I'm sure Tiffin has tried to address the comfort issue in the interim. Bottom line, sit in L section. We'd opt for it even now if it was a little more comfortable to sit in.

We have the L shape sofa in our 17 33aa. The wife loves it. It was 1 of the must haves when we were looking for our coach. As far as comfort, many have said it is uncomfortable. We think it is fairly comfortable and are glad we have it.

I would follow Mike 8253 suggestion and sit in one prior to making your decision.

The thing is two distinct pieces. We find the left hand side (as you face the sofa) is quite comfortable. The right hand piece is much less comfortable, and the pull out bit is like sitting on a rock. We generally don't pull out the "L" as it's a chore and just too uncomfortable to use.

We're going to live with it for our first extended trip (6 weeks). After that, we'll make a decision to keep or replace with a couple of nice recliners and center table.
