Laundry Room broke free

This has happened before. My laundry room wall has broken free and slid forward. It moved so far it got caught in the driver front slide. I took it back to where I bought it, preowned. Tiffin walked the. Through a repair that Bob Tiffin split with me. A year or so later the wall began to break free again. We were at a campsite so had to take washer and dryer out. Discovered that the dealers repair included some tiny screws that had backed out. Without tools best I could do was replace some of them with larger screws and vowed to review it at home base. Well it held ok so I let time drift a little. I’m replacing my washer and decided to make the repair What I’ve found concerns me. Almost every screw broke. I replaced all the screws and it seems sturdy except for the ceiling The top portion will move around an inch or so. I can’t find anyway to secure it short or drilling holes in the roof with an L bracket. I attached pics. Anyone know how the top was originally secured to roof ?

I wish I had an answer for you, but I posted something similar today, but not as bad. my washer/dryer cabinet was shoved into the spot at the factory and they broke a leg and crushed the dryer vent. I found it when investigating the possible upgrade of my combo to stackables. It was obvious that it happened at the factory and was not from "settling". Frustrating....

Any chance construction grade glue would work?

Maybe you can force the wall out a little and apply glue, as Kin ad Monica suggested with a caulking gun then, put the wall in place and wait for the glue to set.

I ended up removing all the sheared screws. This allowed the laundry room section to lay back against the side wall. I then installed a slightly larger self drilling screw. There’s some kind of metal frame where the LR attaches to the side wall. I added a few extra screws. The front of the LR still moved about an inch or so left to right. There were no signs of any previous type of roof or floor attachment. After spending some time with Tiffin, and sadly receiving 0 help, I decided to use a couple L brackets on the inside front corners along with a bead of liquid nails. There is some kind of metal frame there as well. Here’s hoping it all works and that I never have to see the backsides of my washer dryer units again

I noticed that the cross brace in picture#4 is broken. Those braces are made of cheapy particle board with a vinyl cover.
