LED disco lights

Greetings!

On a trip in my buddies 2011 Phaeten. He recently replaced all his halogen ceiling lights with Chinese LED units. Well, at times they blink like crazy!

Each light does this individually, not all the time, but given there are 50 some odd of these in the coach, there can be 10 going at this at the same time.

Anyone had this problem? It acts like maybe voltage, or heat (we are in a cold climate and it seems they calm down (note it never stops but seems less prevalent) when we warm up the coach.

Not too unusual for cheap bulbs. Your friend needs some good bulbs - either from Tiffin or another trusted supplier, and try doing one area. Then select the lights that behave correctly from the cheap manufacturer and use those in other places and toss the rest. BTW, color temp is important - Tiffin specifies warm white.

I have ordered 3 small lots of led replacement bulbs and have had no problem with any of them other than matching colors or temperatures. Your friend may have just gotten some defective bulbs.
