lighted door grab handle

i installed a lighted door grab handle on my open road coach yesterday. came out real nice. easy to install just had to drill a hole for the wire which i drilled at an angle and came out behind the base cabinets in the kitchen. ran the wires down to the switches by the floor and used the floor light switch for the handle and disconnected the floor light as my light in the ceiling comes on when i open the door. [rewired that awhile ago as was a real pain to find the switches in the dark]. used the top hole from the old handle for the top screw in the new handle and had to drill the rest, covered all the holes from the old looks real nice and with the led bulb in it i can leave it on all night even when boondocking as there is very little power used. also mthe company that sells the handles engraved my name in the handle.

Yep, worthwhile addition in my book. Both our Dutch Stars have come with them from the factory. I did just replace the OEM handle as it was cracking and I didn't trust it for my wife to use, she pulls pretty hard on it now and it just didn't look safe with the cracks!
