Liquid Spring Suspension

I watched a video that was recorded during the Tampa RV show and in the video the Liquid Spring representative mentioned that development of the front axle system was nearly complete and might be available to the public in late winter or early spring. Curious if anyone has spoken to a dealer or Tiffin about this option? I didn’t see it on the 2021 options list.

Kind of a thought here. If Tiffin is charging about $15K for the rear liquid springs option, I would suspect that the front is at least half that - so say about $22K to $25 K for full option on 26K chassis. At that price point, I think I would just go ahead and make the plunge on a DP unit. Or, am I looking at this wrong?

LiquidSprings are listed as an option for the 2020 Open Road for the 34PA & up.

Front as well as rear? I knew rear was an option, don't know about the steer.

Liquid Spring Suspension

Just got an email from Liquid Spring.

We have pushed back the release of the front suspension due to the events of the past couple of weeks, durability testing pushed back until thing get back normal.
The front can always be retro fitted later this summer if you go ahead and order a 2021 coach now.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you,

It might be within striking range of the Breeze, but to be honest I would prefer the Open Road gas unit. Some of the lower cost DP’s are under powered as well.

Hello all - - I had the Liquid Spring rear suspension installed last Fall.

I can tell you, the difference in ride is instantly noticeable, especially on serpentine mountain roads. I had Maxim Sumos on all for wheels and thought they were the best, they are but Liquid Spring is better.

I live close to their factory, so naturally this is where the system was installed.

On our test ride pre-purchase and then in our own rig, post install, we were told a front system is is the works.

Engineering was complete, legal paperwork was complete, manufacturing was being planned.

The system is totally made and thoroughly tested at their factory in Lafayette, IN. Very few parts are brought in for the system, they even machine the parts to be used.

It is expensive tho..... So before you order a motor home with this option or have it added - I'd make sure you "love" and plan to keep your rig........as I don't believe the money invested will never be recovered.

I will seriously consider the front system......

One other thing, if Tiffin is offering this as an option, they are installing the system at their factory,I do not believe they are not coming from Ford with it installed. If you live in the Mid West, a trip to the factory in Indiana might be in order for a tour of the factory and installation. They are super friendly and very proud of their factory and product......and I didn't pay anywhere near the price mentioned in this thread.

I believe you can contact Wayne, the person listed, and ask for a quote.I'd email him not if you call, call his cell as he is rarely at the factory.

Good luck.......

g
